With a father in the oilfield industry, I moved frequently, gaining a deep appreciation for the diverse communities across the state.  My mother, a college English instructor and advisor, instilled qualities in me such as, a foundation for clear for communication, attention to detail, and a passion for helping others that have shaped my professional approach.

I attended college for business while launching a successful 13 year career in marketing, sales and management, specializing in residential and commercial security systems. My experience in high-stakes negotiations and customer-focused solutions sharpened my ability to assess needs, solve problems, and advocate for my clients.
